Origins of A Cow Matters

Here's some surprising news. Swedish researchers who were attempting to prove the connection between the first heart attack and saturated fats from dairy have just done the opposite.

The study took 444 first heart attacks and compared the results against 555 controls. The results measured the amount of dairy fat in the blood and found a reduced risk of 9 percent in men and 26 percent in women, completely blowing away the theory of saturated fats and cardiovascular problems.

The Dietary surveys of the patients also uncovered that fermented milk products e.g. yogurt and paneer, were the most effective.

However this isn't the case in North America and many Asian countries which naturally results in poorer quality dairy products low or negligent in omega 3 DHA.
